Bro. George Green was baptized in June of 1962 at Bethesda Apostolic Church, and was filled with the Holy Ghost at age 16. He became active in the work of the Lord and developed a love for the word of God. He enrolled in Aenon Bible School, and Washington Bible College, taking home Bible courses. He sang in the choir, drove the church van, participated in the prayer band, prison ministry and also did revivals around Connecticut. While doing the work of the Lord he met the love of his life, Sis. Louvenia (Little) Green. As time moved on, Eld. George Green became the assistant pastor of Bethel Apostolic Church in Middletown, Ct. under the leadership of the late Senior District, Pastor Marion Fennell. Elder and Sis. Green labored faithfully until God directed them to start a new work. In 1995 New Covenant Apostolic Church was founded in Plainville, CT. In the June District Council of 2008, District Elder Green was elevated to the office of Suffragan Bishop. Suffragan Bishop Green entered into eternal rest on July 9, 2015 and Mother Louvenia Green was later called home to eternal rest on September 2, 2020.

He worked in many capacities such as van ministry, choir member, Sunday School Superintendent and prison ministry. He was called by God to minister. He took Bible courses and studied the word of God and became Eld. George Knight. During that time he met the apple of his eye, Sis. Linda (White) Knight. In April of 2010 Elder Knight was then led by God to be founder and Pastor of Divine Truth Apostolic Church in Cromwell, CT. While God was still doing a great work, Pastor Knight was installed as Pastor of NCAC on May 26, 2016. He was a humble and faithful servant until he was called home to eternal rest on January 18, 2023.
