Meet the Pastor & Lady

Elder Danny White, Sr. was born in Windsor, NC and moved to Connecticut at a young age. While growing up he loved to play sports, it was his passion from grade school through college. After graduation from Middletown High School, he continued his education at Eastern Connecticut State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Finance concentration.

 

 At the age of twenty-five, he was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Bethel Apostolic Church in Middletown, CT under the pastorate of the late District Elder Marion Fennell. There, he served as Young People's President, Sunday School Teacher, Board Trustee, Usher Board, Choir member, and worked in the Evangelism Ministry.   In 1997, while at Bethel Apostolic Church, Elder White was called into the ministry. He received his local papers from the Connecticut District Council and went on to become a licensed minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. He took ministerial courses a Aenon Bible College and later on at Ministry Central of the United Pentecostal Church International. 

 

In 2010, at the request of Elder George Knight, he joined him in starting a new work at Divine Truth Apostolic Church in Cromwell, CT. Elder White was appointed Assistant Pastor, where he served for six years. He served as Christian Education Director and taught bible classes at The Shepherd Home in Middletown, CT. Outside of his work in the church, he organized and directed a community base basketball program for the youth named Drills & Skills.   For the next seven years, Elder White continued working with the late Pastor George Knight as the Assistant Pastor after they transitioned to their new church home at New Covenant Apostolic Church in Plainville, CT.

Elder White is married to Lady Jeanette and they have two sons.
